Ethnographic Research

Talking to consumers where they are most comfortable and where we learn the most
We prefer to visit your consumers in their environments rather than ask them to come to us.

We conduct our research in consumers’ homes or in their local communities. Someone’s story about how and where a product fits into their life is always more complete when it is told in their home, rather than in a central viewing facility.

Because our research projects take place in markets around the world we have learnt never to assume that we understand your consumers until we have met them – and often their families – individually.

Whether it is shanty towns in Manila or high rises in Manhattan, townships in South Africa, rural villages in India, or the suburbs of the English Home Counties, we have been there and uncovered new truths that have grown our clients’ brands.
